One Gallions will be a landmark sustainable development for East London. The proposal is for approximately 200 homes, all designed as net zero carbon, built to the highest environmental standards and with its own on-site renewable energy sources. The landscape design incorporates a number of sustainable initiatives including green and brown roofs, the use of locally sourced hard landscape materials with low embodied energy, soft landscape solutions with maximum biodiversity gain and on site food production including fruit orchards and allotments.
