The practice is led by Tony Edwards, Nicola Cox, and Eric Hallquist. Tony is the managing director and founder of PLACE with over 30 years experience in the landscape profession. Tony is a CABE Design review panel member providing expert advice on the quality of schemes in England. He also sits on several London borough panels and is a fellow of the Landscape Institute.
Nicola is experienced in landscape design, planning and assesment. Nicola has a particular interest in sustainable landscape solutions for new and existing residential and commercial developments both in urban and sub-urban locations.
Eric has a broad range of international experience with projects built on four continents. His background in urban design and ecology forms the foundation to his theoretical approach to designing the built environment. Eric brings a diverse portfolio developed while working with prestigious Architecture and Landscape practices in the US and UK.
PLACE is based in London with a recently opened satellite office in Kerala, India. The India office has been established by Krishna Shreekumar, who has more than 25 years experience of working in landscape design in both the UK and India. He is an accomplished Landscape Architect and Academic in the field of Landscape Architecture.
