This award winning square is the central space of British Land’s mixed-use development at Regents Place. the square is a sculptural event in its own right. Conceived as a high voltage space it buzzes with interaction between users and the built environment and has become a focus for public events. It is unified by the extension of the building grid into the landscape which has been achieved by embedding fibre optic lighting into the granite paving. In addition to the landscape design there are art works by acclaimed contemporary artists including Michael Craig Martin, Langlands & Bell as well as a recently discovered 19th century work by Edward Hodges Baily.
