PLACE prepared landscape design proposals for Stoke Newington School under the Building Schools for the Future Programme. The landscape concept was to create a series of courtyards, each with a distinct character and purpose and to provide a strong perimeter landscape which is secure but attractive.

The design provides a teaching science garden, productive growing areas, a habitat area and a range of games courts and play areas. The entrance plaza gives a clear and welcoming approach to students and visitors, with plenty of cycle storage and seating.
